I had my first daughter Madison Marie when I was 21 years old, she is now a beautiful six year old who started kindergarden this year. I had my next daughter when I was 23. We named her Mackenzie Rose. Kezie will be four on the 15 of december, she told me today when she grows up she wants to be a princess:) Our third and final child another girl came when I was 25 we named her Makayla Mae, she just turned two in August. We were trying for a boy each and everytime but know I'm so glad I ended up with three little princesses.

So today I was sitting and thinking....think think think.....come on Jayme you can do it pull a idea out of that head of yours.....I have the worst time coming up with things to do around the house with the girls, and they are getting slightly tired of the same old same old so I thought I would hop on my blog and ask all of you girls out there what do you do with your kids that doesn't cost any money? Even if you don't have any kids any ideas?? If all else fails I will turn to the always fun baking the girls love to help:)

                     Happy Monday to all!!!

  1. ooooh! i like your new blog layout!

sad you didn't win that pretty green scarf, but you should totally buy one...they're definitely worth it, and stacey is the sweetest :).

as for children's activities...i've got quite a few up my sleeve. maybe you guys could build a fort and eat lunch in their. i still like to build forts with craig... something so magical about a fort. but maybe you guys could make a fort using old boxes and painting them. we've also made a "junk robot" in my classroom, where we took a big box and painted it and decorated it with random things found around the house...nuts, bolts, old clocks...whatever. the kids loved it and there's a book at the library (called the junk robot i think) that would be fun to read with it.

hope you guys have a fun day!

  3. yay! glad i could help. i'll have to come up with some other fun ideas for you sometime too. probably way easier to think them up as a teacher who gets some peace and quiet every now and then, than as a mommy who's got 3 little ones running around looking for entertainment all the time :).

glad you guys had a fun day with your mom & sister

  4. You can make Flubber. Go onto the OMSI website and look around. I know I got the recipe there somewhere. My boys love flubber! It's cool cuz it's a little different than playdough. Also we have a rubbermaid box full of dry noodles that they like to play in. Any kind of dry bean would work too. Pinto beans are totally cheap and it's hours of fun for my kids.
